Frequently Asked Questions

Will I lose control during hypnosis?

No. Hypnosis does not mean becoming unconscious or surrendering control. You remain aware and can choose to stop the session at any time.

What if I can’t be hypnotised?

Hypnosis is not something that is “done” to you. It involves your participation and focused attention. People experience it differently, and we can discuss any concerns before beginning.

How many sessions will I need?

There isn’t an honest one-size-fits-all answer. People, circumstances and goals differ. We can discuss an appropriate starting point during your consultation and review progress as we go.

Is Hypnotherapy suitable for everyone?

Not necessarily. Your initial consultation gives us an opportunity to discuss your circumstances and whether hypnotherapy appears appropriate. Hypnotherapy should not replace medical or mental-health care when that care is needed.

Understanding Hypnotherapy

Hypnotherapy is often misunderstood. We believe in total transparency about the process, helping you feel calm and informed before we begin our work together.

What exactly is hypnosis, and will I lose control?

Hypnosis is a state of focused attention and deep relaxation. You remain fully in control and aware of your surroundings at all times; it is not like the "stage magic" you see on TV. You cannot be made to do anything against your will.

How does hypnotherapy help with anxiety?

By accessing the subconscious mind, we can identify and interrupt the automatic thought patterns that trigger anxiety. We work to replace these with calmer, more resilient responses that feel natural to you.

Is it scientifically proven?

Yes, hypnotherapy is a recognized clinical tool. We use evidence-based techniques supported by modern neuroscience to help clients manage stress and behavioral patterns effectively.

Will I remember everything after the session?

Most people remember everything that happens during hypnosis. It feels similar to being deeply engrossed in a book or a daydream—you are aware but very relaxed.

Understanding Anxiety Treatment

Anxiety isn't just a feeling; it's a physical and cognitive pattern. Hypnotherapy works by interrupting these cycles and helping you build lasting internal resilience.

How does hypnotherapy calm a racing mind?

By accessing the subconscious, we can slow down rapid thought patterns and lower the nervous system's baseline arousal, creating a state of deep, clinical relaxation.

Will I still be in control during the session?

Yes. You remain fully aware and in control. Hypnotherapy is a collaborative process where we work together to reframe your reactions to stress and anxiety triggers.

How many sessions are needed for anxiety?

While some notice a shift immediately, sustainable change typically occurs over 4-6 sessions. We focus on giving you tools you can use every day, not just in our studio.

Booking & Policies FAQ

We aim to keep our administrative process as straightforward as our clinical care. Here is how we manage bookings, cancellations, and reschedules with clinical honesty.

How do I book a session?

You can book directly through our online portal. We recommend starting with a free initial consultation to ensure our approach is the right fit for your needs.

What is your cancellation policy?

We require 48 hours' notice for cancellations. This allows us to offer the space to others on our waiting list. Cancellations within 48 hours may incur a fee.

Can I reschedule my appointment?

Yes, reschedules are possible through the booking portal if made more than 48 hours in advance. For late changes, please contact the studio directly.
